Vasari Black Market Buff (?)

I've read a couple posts that refer to a "Vasari Black Market Buff".  Could someone please explain what that is and whether something was added to the tech tree with the 1.04 patch that gives the Vasari an advantage on the black market?  I haven't noticed it in the tech tree yet.

The black market now usually pays more than it used to for each 100 units of crystal or metal. I believe 200 is now the least you can get each time you sell. Vasari are generally able to get crystal and metal more easily than the other races, mostly due to their scouts being able to set up stand alone extractors. Vasari thus tend to benefit more from the higher black market sell prices.

Ah, that's what I suspected it might refer to.

yeah back in 1.02 the crystal/metal prices would often go up to like 1000-1200 which meant they sold for 666-800.

Since Vasari got the best resource income, they could sell these for credits.

Then in 1.03 things got screwed up so bad, massively buffing tec, as crystal/metal could pretty much always be bought for 250-350, but only sold for 80-120

Now the buy is around 450-600 usually(imo should peak high on booms and crash harder ;/) and sell around 225-300.

So the racial balance for economy is better. TEC is supposed to have an economical advantage, but 1.03 made it ridiculous to where it was basically the only race worth playing except for Vasari having Subverters.
