IP and ID, driving me nuts when exporting icon

I am using IP and ID for some time. But since the new interface i dont get it done to export an icon properly.
Here is what i all tried (was using an icon library).
1. Export Icon from IP. Save as, only as BMP. No PNG. Really useless for further use. Icons are choppy and have a black background.
2. from IP. Edit icon in ID. --> ID cant open file.
3. Save package as. (with single icons). In folder thumbnails view, from 60 icons. 20 r just small little icons. 4-5 are nice big ones. The rest arent displayed at all, Just a orange pic to represent them.
4. ID. Opening Icon Package in ID. --> Export Image to PNG. No matter what i do or select. Always the first icon of the package gets exported.
5 ID. Using Package. Create new Icon from Image. No matter what i select. Always the whole library is recreated. When than try to export from there same as in point 4.
6. ID. Using Package. Copy image. Create new Icon from clipboard --> ID "Icons already exists"
So no matter what it just doesnt work for me.
I never had this problems before. In the old IP it was so easy to export. And it always worked.
What am i missing?
