Cannot set properties of DesktopX Pro 3.5 activeX controls!

I just upgraded my desktopX pro to 3.5.016 running on XP pro & SP2. I am unable to set DesktopX ActiveX controls properties, such as edit box and listbox to change properties. The controls always seem to maintain their default settings. Widgets usings the controls worked fine on 3.49. Did anyone have this issue?

Hi,

You probably forgot to save it as an object or desktop or whatever,thats my guess.

No Jingles, I have not been able to set for example background color, border visibility and the like. It was working just fine piror to the upgrade. This is specific to DesktopX collection of activeX controls. Can anyone confirm that?

I can confirm this. I saw this behavior back in the summer of 2006 and it got fixed. I have a DesktopX theme that makes use of the DesktopX Edit Control, an activeX control. None of its properties can be changed from their default settings. Please submit a ticket and reference this thread, Drake. Thanks.
