Does Stardock have accident forgiveness?

Lets say I tripped over Sins of a Solar Empire when walking into my room, got tangled up in bed linnings, flew out the window, and got hung on bed linnings.

Do I have accident forgiveness here?!

This post, while made as a joke, has a bit of truthfulness in it.  If some idiot was to kill himself off a Stardock product, what happens then?

In this crazy sue happy world, people rush to do things stupid.

If I have an accident reading your post, can I sue you? After all, it was put here recklessly without any warning as to the potential dangers of reading it. What if I'd choked on my bacon sandwich as a result of the sudden shock?

Please pass me the name of your lawyer asap.

:NOTSURE: They can try, just like most people, doesn't mean they win but they can try.

Which also would mean someone from Stardock would hafta take days off work to appear in court.

Actually yes....I think they do forgive you for being clumsy. ;)

Which just goes to the state of a country that is run by lawyers. Anybody remember that Shakespeare quote about where to begin?

Too bad it doesn't run like this: If a lawsuit is deemed frivolous or malicious the defendant is immediately awarded 10 times what the plaintiff was asking, and has to be paid on the spot.

But then, the lawyers run that too.

Maybe the point is to make stupid posts so that you'd die, did you ever think of that?

If you got killed from a topic of mine, then Stardock would need accident forgiveness, eh?

Which they allowed you to use..

However following your train of thought, your saying....

If you allow me to use your shovel and I go across the street a beat someone to death with it, you should be the one to be arrested and/or sued since it was your shovel.

Did the shovel have a warning on it, when you loaned it, detailing the potential dangers of its use? If it didn't then you can be sued  ;)

See, now you guys are getting the point ! (That this topic is pointless and stupid  :p)

Lets say I was in a jeep with a carputer playign galactic civilizations 2. Suddenly God strikes me with lightinging, I fly in the air, and smash into a busy intersection, causing a 60 car explosion.

And while my car is on fire I'm intentionally killing people with bad posts.

Stardock had better have accident forgiveness ready for all these dead people !

You can bash me all you want, but when you hear a bolt of lightning and my car comes flying thru your house, and then everything blows up, your gonna wish you has accident forgiveness thru Stardock!!111

The fact is, you can't stop us unless you get accident forgiveness thru Stardock. We are a collection of cyborgs known as 'Zellio', who came back in time to stop Stardock.

In the future Stardock is known as the Galactic Federation, and is our main enemy.

if you do not join with Stardock, then you had better not sleep at all during the night, for at any moment a car could come flying thru your house.

Yes humans, it was bound to happen that you would eventually know the truth. When you eventually find the remains of cyborgs with Zellio imprinted on them in the two recent 60 car pileups, you'd know.

You had best affilate yourselfs with Stardock, otherwise we will come and get you.

While what we do may seem odd, as cyborgs we only follow someone's orders.

We got programmed in 2020 by a strange fellow named Leisure Suit Larry. We follow his orders, but even we wonder why they are the way they are.

Most states have laws against such practices. Meaning if you try and sue someone for a very bad or unlikely reason... it would never make it to court. You would be wasting the courts time and such. Also there are other laws which would allow the people you are sueing to counter sue you for an even more worthy cause too! Which in most cases happens and they do win usually.
But if you have a accident because of some stupid reason with a product of whomever. You may want to check the agreement for said software. Most has a statement saying they are not responsible for what or whenever. So if you blow yourself up - then oh well tuff luck for you!

As for games and being struck by lightining... that is considered with most insurance companies as an act of nature. Which you are at fault - not anything to do with being an accident.

And as of the other new federal laws concerning Homeland Security and such...
Please if you would not state in this forum you are going to crash your car into such and such and blowup so and so. Not a good practice to be preaching anywhere.

So to put it simple for you Zellio...

No - Stardock or any other corp or co. is NOT resposible for anything that may happen accidental or otherwise with any product... plus you would have a very hard time sueing these people or for that matter anyone else for such as case. As it is; you may be just held accountable for your present actions is all and/or any other statements for such a stupid idea.
Ironic statements can be considered as many things in a law suit and are usually what does the most damage for anything.
So by what you have mentioned here already - I would not be willing to see you try any of the things you have given here as your idea of an accidental reasoning for such and such a cause.

Oh and we are not bashing you either... Just thinking outloud a bit too as you did...

heheheheeee.... it is a free country - but even here freedom of speech has it's rules too!

well to be honest, the game company assumes no liability nor responsibility over what the end users do.if they imitate the game then chances are they are ill and do not know the difference between dream & reality,if they are not ill and did it then they are a complete retart.

Hmm.. would you sue the coffee company for the hot coffee or the company that made your clothes for not making them thick enough to protect you from the hot coffee? :NOTSURE:
