I think I found a bug in OD

OK ... I've got four screens (yes, four screens ... bfd).  My docks on the upper and lower portions of all screens work properly.  However, the side docks on all but the primary screen have a strange glitch.  It is applicable to all docks, not just those I have made.

The glitch is as follows:  When I create a side dock and tell OD which of the four screens it is to appear on, all goes well, the dock appears on the appropriate screen and on the correct side of the screen.  However, if I add a spacer, the spacer (and ONLY the spacer) appears on the side of the primary monitor.  Not the monitor on which the dock appears.

Therefore, I have spacers floating all by themselves on my primary monitor, and empty spaces on the docks.

As mentioned, all upper and lower docks work just fine.  The spacers appear on the correct monitor.  It is ONLY the side docks that seem to have the problem.

Also ... a question with regard to side docks generally.  What is the best way to manage side docks on multiple screens??  If I have them "hide off screen", then they just show up on the screen next to that screen ... wich makes things a little cluttered.  Is there some way to make the side docks on inside edges really disappear when they are not in use?  As it is, I only use two side docks, on the outside edges of the outside monitors, and ... as mentioned ... I don't use any spacers on those docks.

I opened up a trouble ticket with our developer on this.  Can you make this happen with 2 monitors?  Please post back with the steps to repro on two monitors if possible.  It will shorten our response time.  Thanks!

To make certain I am doing this correctly, you want me to unhook two of the monitors and then try the docks again?

As in .... completely reconfigure the monitors so that my spread is only two?

Or .... is it enough to just work with Monitors 1 and 2 .... 2 being my primary monitor. They are in order left to right.

Just wanted to make sure before I go through all the hassle of tearing down my monitors. It was a pain in the ass to get them set up correctly.

Same thing happens here. Only happens with regular docks set to autohide, tabbed docks set as drawers are fine. Doesn't matter if the dock is placed on the primary or secondary monitor, if it's on the "shared inner edge" of either monitor it autohides by sliding over to the next monitor in an unresponsive state (you can see it, but nothing happens when you mouse over it while it is in it's "hidden but still visible" state.

Don't know about the spacer thing.

ODPlus v 1.90 (Build 537U)beta (i.e., the current "i" version beta), XPSP2Home, 2 monitors, ATI AIW9600XT with (reluctantly updated) current drivers.

Why don't you simply uncheck the "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor" option under your display properties for monitors 3 and 4. Test it, report the results then go back and recheck the option.

I have 4 on my work system but I don't use OD on it.

That's a great idea, Phoon. I will do that when I get some time tomorrow and then post my results.
