Next time you are in work borrow one of these and never go near the computer unless you have it on.

It is hard to work out what the hell you are doing to your computer

You say you reinstalled Vista 64 have you just done that and left the Stardock programs on the computer or did you remove all of them and also reinstall them.?

computer crashed, had to reinstall windows, and found when i reinstalled sdc and tried to install object desktop, could not access any of the od, except bitmaps. removed, then reinstalled again the sdc, tried again and tried to install logon studio, it said you need vista or above, i had removed all the stardock programmes, before this. comprendi. kimo sabbee. f.y.i. straight jackets are not used anymore, but then when in america, who knows.

Fuzzy and I are both in UK.

After you removed all Stardock programs did you Reboot and run a reg. cleaner ?.

I use CCleaner it is free and works well, If not I would give that a try, then you could try Impulse instead of SDC.

Or getting someone to do it for you might be a good option.

You should go buy a MAC and don't add any programs to it. Use it just the way you purchased it. And, why exactly do you have Vista 64? The casual user has no need for that high end OS.

I give him credit, he's not afraid of trying something new.
Now if he can just stick with one OS long enough for his system to become stable.

there are two versions of logonstudio, one for xp and one for vista. the xp version will not install on vista32 or 64. if you did indeed go the upgrade route when installing vista64, i recommend doing a clean install instead. numerous object desktop apps work on vista 64. i know this as a fact since i'm using them on vista ultimate 64 here.

and as for the question regarding why vista64, 64 bit vista sees all my memory.

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...
This is a test of the Day Go public OS recue service.
If you are using Vista then everything is ok.
If you are using XP Pro then everything is ok

If you are using anything else - then just forget it...
Your in real trouble!
