Does this make me evil?

Greets gents.

earilier i was asking for yours help with some of the paramaters of the game.  thankyou all for helpin me out, it's here if u wanna see it https://forums.galciv2.com/305763

anyoo, this is a tactic i do to keep the neighbors from becoming unruly.

i have a cluster of planets that got hit with the precurser thingy which sets all the planets in that solar system to like 14 or something along those lines.  First off, i make sure i have the means of gettin to the enemy home system(militarty bases don't fail me now)  after that i create a fleet of 3 defenders and 2 or 3 troop ships.  set off, makin sure i avoid the roving patrols of baddies.  when i get to target system, i look for 2nd or 3rd best quality system and invade it.  after i got that world, i reset all the stuff in that world to factories(and factory enhancements) and stock markets.  now here's where the fun begins.  now I begin building trrop transports(5000 troops) and take over another world using mass drivers tactics.  that will 9 times out of 10 drop the planet quality down.  after i conquered, i use other troop ships, and take the people off of my newley conquered planet and put em on my first conquered planet.  then i build a cargo hull with a 500 cargo modual.  get in the forien relations tab, and trade the planet BACK to my enemy.  after which i load up 1 coloniest, and proceed to use mass drivers and take over the world again  :D

This isn't a quik process, but i can take a system of 5 planets with a qual of 14 and bring em down to like 2 or 3 quality.  i do this cause when my enemy gets em back, they won't help him so much.

hope u like.  :)

Hi!
If you want just to destroy a planet, in DA you can do that in planet details screen, and planet will turn to class-0. If you're doing that for gaining tech, then it's a valid, but cheesy tactic, that makes you evil, ;)

Whatever floats your boat.

If you are only out to destroy at any cost, I would say that makes you evil.

Once I get an empire size that I like I'll sometimes start destroying any planets I take over. It provides a nice "fire break" between the two empires, if I could only get them to stop flying in it once peace is declared I could call it a demilitarized zone...

how do u destroy planets in dark avatar? i checked planet details screen, i can destroy the colony, but the planet quality still stays the same(which then another civ will come along with a colonizer, and i'm back to square 1). The main reason i do this is what Feud said. I do it to create a firebreak, and to make sure that no one civ(besides mine) has too much power.

But please tell how i can turn these planets into to quality 0.

Ok i thik i figured it out. if u hit destroy colony, it renders the planet uninhabitable? i thought i did this b4 and the only thing it did was kill my colony, but left the planet quality the same. just tried it twice in my current game, and i see it makes the quality of said planet 0.
