Is there a way to automate capital ship upgrades?

and automate the building of fighters/bombers?

You only have to build them once. Bombers/fighters. After that they rebuild on their own.

Right click on the cap ship upgrade button, and it'll autocast, just like everything else, and the ship will automatically upgrade. (There's even a tooltip on a loading screen that tells you this. ^_^)

Doesn't work for strikecraft, though. I'm afraid you'll have to do that manually.

best to select an entire fleet and manage strike craft from there.
