Is this a bug? Lock teams are unlocked after game Load.

I was wondering if this is a bug in the game or if i'm missing something.  In the single player i've played two games where the teams are locked from the start.  Since games take a while I save them and load them up later and everytime after I've loaded those games the teams are no longer locked.  The game started with locked teams but once I load the game I can make alliances and people start giving me missions.  Is there a fix to this or am I missing something or is this just an unfortunate bug in the game?

Yes, it's known bug.

IIRC the workaround is to go into the game options (where you set stuff like research speed etc.) and lock the teams again, before you load a game. (Someone please corrects me a and give Scullbones a better explanation.)

AFAIK that bug should be fixed for 1.04.

Ah, thanks I thought so. Thanks for telling me there was a way around it. I was able to go in and figure it out and change the options again before I load the game so now I won't have 7 computer attacking me at once. hehe
