This questions has been asked sooo many freaking times , and not once has anyone from stardock or ironclad even had a response.



HOW DO WE OPEN AND VIEW THE MESH FILES.....!!!!!!?????

I have no problem converting my meshs to sins format ,using sins mesh editor. but What I need is to be able to open a planet mesh file .


so cmon , Just point me inthe right direction for some viewer/3d program

or make me real happy and email me with just one planet mesh in a common format.

If i could open the mesh I could finally get my planet seams out without trying to see where i need fixing while looking at a planet in the sins game.

If you have 3D Studio Max, there is a tool that allows you to import/export mesh files. Just do a search for the thread.


If you do not have 3d Studio Max however, I'm unaware of any other tools.

Well come on. This is not a freaking major request. the file i speak of is a whopping 129 kb .

Have you opened one? if so for the love of god man. email me a converted planet mesh

3ds format will work. i got milkshape and blender.

Sins and Gal Civ 2 are 2 of my most favorite games.
