All AI opponents (empires, colonies, pirates) are Red since 1.03

Ok, I've created my own maps, and loaded ones that come with the game. and since I installed 1.03, ALL AI enemies are fixed as the red color. I change icons and color for enemies all the time, and I almost always pick dark blue for myself. Well, not only are all the opponent AI's all in red, but I'm always light green. If I check the diplomacy window, I can see the different color no problem, but otherwise, the icons are always everyone red, and I'm green.

This never happened before and only since I updated to 1.03 (today).

HELP!
