When playing advent I started to use this build set up by going economical side and also culture and then mass produce disciples and use the carrier to give the energy bonus to them works out quite effectively. Won two matches using this setup againest heavy lrm spam and lrm spam is good if they know what to target but if they are all the same unit, they lose their adventage. So all in all advent can defend againest lrm just dont build heavy defend installations early make your economical your first objective and in late game start working on military. Then on choke points build good balanced of beam cannons,hangers, and repair stations.
What to do:
when the game just starts I get one 100 load of crystals, research your homeworld's logistics first getting your homeworld population at its max while making cap yard to build the carrier. At the same time do your normal exploring and filling up the mines.
Lay out : 3 logistics research stations first and 1 military later in game when culture and mining is at its max level for three logistic stage. start filling up the military side the energy cannons shields and hull. When the money seems to going up while doing all of this start mass producing disciples. They r really great soaking up damage with combination of the carrier their rate of fire is also increased I think lol.
As the game drags out start focusing on military only only build 1 cap ship rest disciples. It works for me againest spamage so try it out and tell me how it goes!
