UK player US servers

US copy default US servers

Hello
I'm a uk player and had to download the game and pay in US $, I noticed the network has two default servers that are both US servers, is there a UK/europe server?, is there a problem with my copy having US servers in, I have not tried it online yet , but would have thought the ping will suffer if theres no uk servers, and if I bought the copy from the us, is it coded to look for US servers, is there a way to change this???>.

The online play is p2p. The server only provides the lobbies and such. And there is no US nonUS copies. There is only one version of the game.

I'm the UK, played several games online over the weekend, with people from USA, Oz, Netherlands. lag only seemed to be an issue if the host computer wasn't up to the job. e.g. people were starting to build up large fleets.

things to be aware of are that if the host quits, the game ends, there's supposed to be a feature where the game migrates to another player to host, but i haven't seen this working yet.

Only got it lastnight , had a quick look and thought I had better goto bed, before I stay up all night lol.
