Microsoft Outlook 2003 problem

Using ObjectDock 1.90 build 536 free.
My Outlook is configured to download emails from my corporate exchange server, using https as the protocol. Under this configuration, whenever I start outlook.exe (from start menu and/or desktop shortcut and/or quicklaunch bar), the very first thing it asks is for my login info.
Now, if I just drag-and-drop the desktop link to objectdock and start outlook from there, it does NOT ask for login.
Not a problem, right? Wrong!
I noticed that, when starting from objectdock, my email filters are not working, all stay on my inbox instead of filling the correct folders based on my rules. The login is a side effect (of another problem/bug) or the main issue, I am not sure.
I tried disabling all troubleshoothing options on objectdock (with a restart of OD), nothing changed. Tried starting outlook from a batch file, nothing changed. Created a vb app to start outlook, nothing changed.
It seems you are starting apps in an unusal way, and they don't behave as spected.
Any ideas?
