Invalid Serial Number

I have just purchased GALCIV, installed it entering the CD key as required by the installer.
The CD key was correct.
However, when I try to D/L the GALCIV BONUS PAK I am told my serial is invalid. I have input the serial number many times including pasting it directly from the GALCIV "install log".
What's wrong?

Can anyone help please!?

Two things to suggest.
1. The font used to print the serial number makes it very hard to distinguish between the numerals 1 and 7 and a lower case "L".

No not at all.
"Sussed" is english slang for "worked it out", or indeed, can also be used in the sentence thus:
"you've been sussed! meaning "you've been found out".

As a matter of interest in what context was it used in Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy?
