Slow down election night and this game is a classic

That's the only serious thing wrong with the current game. Election night just speeds by without state by state popular vote totals and without tension. That's the one tweak I'd like to see (though I think other improvements would really help too).

Perhaps add this feature, but make everything beyond electoral votes tweakable in the options. I wouldn't necessarily want to watch all that stuff go by. The electoral wins take long enough as is.

Feel free to create a "Election Night Suggestion Thread" because we agree with you but we've never been able to come up with the right way to present election night.  We wanted each state to actually show the people going to the polls and a running ottal but we couldn't visualyl come up with something satisfying.

Perhaps if you and others put together your ideas along with ours we might be able to come up with something more gratifying.
