Is this game playable online? I'm looking to buy a civilization game with my boyfriend so that we can play something slow-paced on the internet and was just curious if this had online play?

'fraid not Sarah. the metaverse is based on submitted game scores/score ladders. galciv does not have multiplayer. GREAT GAME though....
