map creator - home planets awfully far away from the star

I want to create a map for 10 players. 5 stars, 20 planets each, 2 players. I'd like to keep planets packed together quite close so i choose smallest possible map and small orbit. Planets are all packed together close to the star, so is the pirate base.

The problem is that my starting position is awfully far from that place.

By starting position I mean my home planet, an asteroid and another random planet.

Those three are far away from the star and other planets packed close to it. Jumping there takes like 40 minutes on fast game.

What I need is means to make this starting position be as close to the star as possible. I can't find those in the map editor anywhere. It can't be done via orbit (doesn't affect it), via jump lane length (just like orbit, affects only other planets in the mix).

I don't have this home planets in the set with others. They seem to be added automatically and can't be altered. This seems to be my problem.

So, how do I set this one? Radius at which home world of players are from the star.

Rather than using the ingame editor, try using the GalaxyForge tool, posted on in the download section on the main page. There is a nice guide attached to it, so it shouldn't be a problem to figure things out. If you want to connect Wormholes across star systems it is a bit complicated though :P Look at Voruk's Labyrinth than you should be able to figure it out easily :D (you can open the maps in the Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Galaxy folder with notepad)
