Serial Number not required ?? WTF (please move if in the wrong section)

I bought GCII ultimate bundle yesterday and just recieved the "thank you" email from Stardock.
Eager to finally play the game, I noticed it said that the serial number is not required.
Ok, but how do I get the game ??
Keep telling me to type in the serial code.
Any help would be nice.

You're probably seeing a reference to the retail version, which did not require a serial to be entered to install or play it. You do need to have a serial though to download from SDC.
