I was messing around with some of the options (MaxParticleCount MaxAsteroidCount MaxDustCloudParticleCount) and I think those may be semi-destabilizing the game under Vista...at least on my comp. So I was just curious on what the defaults are for those...

Simply removing the file will reset the game to all default settings. So you can just rename it and fire up the game to get a 'clean' copy to compare with.
