How do you register TotalGaming.net tokens?

I have purchased 20 of them, but I can't use them.

I am trying to buy Sins of a Solar Empire and Jets'n'Guns but I cannot get the tokens I purchased to show up on my account. I tried registering them in Stardock Central, but even though I get a screen saying that "Your games subscription has been successfully registered", I still have no tokens. I even changed my e-mail address to match my billing e-mail address and tried to purchase more tokens, but this did not work either. How do I get to use the tokens that I purchased? It is a little bit frustrating that I spent $150 so that I could get this game this weekend, because I won't be able to play it for another two weeks after this weekend, and I can't even do that.

Martimus,

One thing you can try is go to http://www.totalgaming.net/ and login to your account there. Then click on "Buy" for Sins of a Solar Empire and you can "purchase" the game with your tokens on that window (assuming they show up there). They will then send you an e-mail with your serial key / download link etc.

I've read that others are having trouble using tokens to purchase Sins right now as well.

I'm not seeing any TotalGaming.net membership under your Stardock.net account - I suspect the problem is that your membership ended up under a different one. Please contact sales@stardock.com with your order numbers and they'll get you sorted out.

I opened a help ticket yesterday for this issue. I'll go through that process first, then contact sales again if they cannot resolve the issue. Thank you for your help Yarlen and IronWill!

OK, I lied. The tokens show up in Stardock Central, but not on this site when I try to actually purchase the game. How do I fix that?

Try logging out and logging back in to the main TotalGaming.net website using your Stardock.net account.

That worked, but now I get an error that says "Failed to validate your sin, sose registration information", after I bought the Sins of a Solar Empire game.

Are you sure you don't have two accounts?  It sounds like that may be the culprit.

That is kind of what happened, as I got an account about 6 or 7 years ago, and when I went to buy Galactic Civilizations 2 I bought it online, instead of in the store, so maybe I got a second account for that. Either way, I had a similar problem when I bought that game, but Stardock was able to fix it. I tried to get them to just merge the two accounts, but they could not do that at the time.

Ok, I got it fixed with Support. I just had to reinstall Stardock Central.
