THANK YOU!

Or, How You Helped My Brother Forget I Forgot His Birthday

I bought my brother a copy of Sins for his birthday as a digital download, primarily because I forgot to get him something until it was too late to stick a package in the mail. He had been saying how much he wanted to find a good real-time space strategy game because he can't remember one he really felt involved in since, like, Imperium Galactica. So I figured, what the hell, this has multiplayer, graphics are good, it looks like it'll be okay.

He just sent me the following text message:

"Thanks for the game. I'm only on the second tutorial, but I think this is exactly what I've been waiting a decade to play."

I did, I figured it'd be good for both of us since it has multiplayer. I had problems downloading off of Stardock but I figured out what the problem was right before I left for work--but I did get through all the tutorials and a couple of skirmishes on a small map first, so I'm definitely pleased.

But being able to get my brother the game he's wait his whole adult life for as a birthday present is way better than any game. :)
