backup updated Object Desktop programs and downloaded items

Please help !!

1. Other than ordering a CD, how can I backup my Object Desktop, and keep it up-to-date, like on a separate disk for safe keeping?

2. When updating using Stardock Central, what does the choice "auto-archive on application updates" mean?..are the programs being archived some place? and is that where I can find the updated Object Desktop installation program that I can backup?

3. Is there a Stardock "backup" type of program to use to save install prog, settings , and all the downloaded packages?

Thank You!!!!!!!!!

Stardock central makes a backup of your app. they are stored in C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\BACKUP. You can burn them onto CD or whatever.

Stardock Central can update. archive, and restore apps. Make a CD and burn the backups and a copy of SDC to it. You will be good for the apps. Your skins are scattered around your HD. They might be in the shared documents or your users documents.
