Where can i find the GalCiv II serial in the registry?

I have just purchased GalCiv II-DA from the website, got the email confirmation with a link to download SDC and a serial key.

I followed the link to download SDC and have installed it successfully.
However when it loads up, it prompts me to enter the serial key for GalCiv II, I assume this is the serial that came with the original game and not the one i've just recieved for Dark Avatar? (i assume this is the case, because entering the serial for DA doesn't work)

I have a problem, as it's a long time since i installed the original game - and i can't find the jewel case anywhere!

I've tried to find the serial key in the registry (HKLM\Software\Stardock) but no sign of it anywhere :(

Help plzzzz.
Thanks.
Adam.

Your best bet would be to fire up Stardock. Then go to Tools > Register Products. Register your DA key there. I am assuming that you already registered your Dread Lords (GalCiv2) key with Stardock already.

As long as that is done, you can easily re-download / re-install. It's what I do with each piece of Stardock software. If I have a key, I register it via the Stardock client. That way, I'm covered.

Your other option would be to hit up the GalCiv2 forums and post a message there. They are very good about getting people straightened out so they can play.

Choose Tools - Lookup Serial Number from Stardock Central to have the serial mailed to you. I assume you cannot get it from the registry.

Just make sure you have both of them registered--you have to have DL regged on the same account as DA in order to be able to download DA.

He was probably reading this through stardock.com or totalgaming.net.
