Stardock Central Update Manager Problem

I opend up Stardock Central. Update manager starts to run with 1 of 53 updates. After download is compleat i restart SC and get Page Cannot Be Displayed.

Give this a try for a clean install.

 -Run the file here: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/remove_sdc.bat
 -Restart your computer
 -Reinstall SDC from here: http://sdc.stardock.com/sdcentral_setup.exe

Did that. Don't work. I get connection error 1001. Never had problems with pop-up blockers or firewalls befor when running SC.

Error message 1001 implies that something interfered with the connection or the connection is bad. Please double check your security software to be certain that the Stardock servers are not being blocked and are made exceptions. Unless you are having internet issues there shouldn't be a reason that Stardock Central wouldn't be able to access the web otherwise. You could alwasy go under the settings menu and try the other server but it is not likely to help.

This is strange though. I uninstalled SC and removed all related folders. Reinstalled Sc. When i signed on, the manager started updating(1 of 53). When i restart SC as instructed, i get that error. I went back and did the uninstall and reinstall all over again but this time i canceled the update and everything worked fine. I could get to all my paid Object Dock products. I never had any problem connecting to SC before. Something in that 1 of 53 is causing my connection problem.

Did you use that link I had listed before for the download? Also did you restart between installs?
