can't activate gal2 or da from sdc or first game menu

i'm going nuts--first i puchased galciv 2 a year ago w/no serial, i received that serial from support today so i could now run DA too. Now i can't activate either, been troubleshooting for 2 hours, i bought DA Last Friday- I just want to play AGHHHH!
