Uploading Avatar Pics...

Can't ;)

Hi,

I've attempted to add an avatar pic from WinCustomize browser and in IE7 and both times it has failed. Can someone please let me in on the secret  ;p  It pretends to upload ( :NOTSURE: ), but then no pictures become available. Does admin censor our pictures first and then they become available later?  ;) 

My sincere apologies if this has been answered a million times already.

No: is the avatar you are uploading a 50x50 .jpg.

do you get a completed/successful message?

it takes some time to cycle through the servers

have you cleared your browser cache?

Hi,

Thanks for your replies...the picture was a 50x50 .jpg, but that didn't work, so I resized it to 48x48, which still didn't work. I've just cleared my cache and will try again.

:EDIT:Nope, no confirmation message. The image I want to use is at http://www.multi-os-guy.com/me.jpg It's 50x50 in JPG format. Does it matter that I'm only attempting to add an icon, or do I have to add all pictures before it will update my profile (like desktop etc.).

:Second Edit: I've tried to upload them all, and the only one that doesn't want to upload is the Personal Icon. The others were fine...I can prolly put the image here...




Worked! The colors in the website changed to orange and so I put my foot down and the image went through! (kind of like the lights ;))
