CNET chooses Philips' Eco TV Best in CES Show

It appears the the Phillips 42-inch, 1080p resolution, flat-panel LCD Eco TV has impressed CNET as they have chosen it as the CES 2008 Best in Show. This Eco TV has the ability to dim the backlight--by up to five times peak brightness in response to program material which should reduce the power consumption greatly.

There have been some great gadgets introduced at this show and well worth investigating.
