WinCustomise Browser Login Fail

For the last two days I have been getting an error when logging in the the Wincustomise Browser - version 2.00c[b].003. Was working fine until then.

Anyone else have the problem? I recall I had a similar issue a fwe years ago and it was a problem at the Stardock end. I haven't seen any other posts on this.

Mark using the WC Browser is my normal why of getting to WC and the forums. I haven't had any problems. Of course that doesn't help you one bit, but others my be experiencing problems as you have. Lets see if anyone else answers.

well I had more problems than that. I had to uninstall SDC and then reinstall it then I uninstalled WC browser and reinstalled it. now all is ok :NOTSURE:

For the past two days SDC would'nt connect including on my 2nd'ry comp,something about connection error or whatever (all other progs,browsers can connect to the net),tried again this morn'n & all is right in the world once again ;p ,is it possable that you not connecting with WC is related,perhaps they're doing maintenance on the servers.

Edit: i did'nt think to try WC when i had the SDC issue "D'oh"

Some server migration just occured. Please try again and let us know if you still have troubles. It should be all set now.

I have the same problem...

The earlier version of WC Browser told me that my subscriptions already expired and I must to renew it (notwithstanding that I have already done this until the 4/21/2012)...  :SURPRISED: 

Today I have installed version 2.00c[b].003. Now it doesn't accept my Username and Password and show me a message: "Error logging into your WinCustomize account!"

May be I need change some settings to force it work for me?

Same problem here....try to logon thru SDC and it says Invalid, same with Wincustomize browser.

get the "error logging in to your Wincustomize account" I'm having all sorts of problems activating it, sent a support request, recieved a reply saying use the activation number sent in the purchase confirmation e-mail....there wasn't one...only my order number and serial number, which i entered when i installed Wincustomizer browser.

I tried to create a new account with different e-mail addresses's but it still the same. is there anyway to delete all the accounts and start from scratch.

Personally I think this is another server issue - let's wait for our friends at Stardock to look into this...

I have no problems logging in with SDC

I can log into SDC but not WC Browser. After the weekend, I am sure the problem will looked into :)

Same problem here; Stardock Central works; Wincustomize browser says "Error logging into your Wincustomize account". Two days now for me.

I was not able to log in the 18 or 19 jan 2008.
I just tried and was successful.
I am posting this message using the WC browser Discussion tab and a dial up connection.
I got through now but I don't know if I will be able to later in the day
when traffic increases.
I guess I will try to let you know how it goes.

When I post reply with Discussion the browser switches to web browser
and opens the same page, now I will try posting with WC browser web browser. :)

Since my last post.
I uninstalled WC browser and reinstalled the latest
version that I downloaded from stardock Jan. 18, 2008.
I restarted the computer.
I am running XP home edition service pack2 IE 7.
All my software is up to date.
I am using AOL dial up connection.
The Internet works fine for me.
WC forum is loading slow for me or not at all
when compared to other
forums.
Posting this with WC browser.
Discussion tab WC browser will still not let me post. :)

I re-downloaded the Wincustomize Browser...and now it works, Fingers crossed it stays that way. :CONGRAT:
