invisible stars

Ach i need some serious help. As i was modding, I recently noticed that stars are not showing up in some parts of the map, just the planets around an invisible star. the minimap shows that the star should be there but no star is on the main screen. Its not all of the stars but enough that i noticed just now. This is definately something i did in the mod cause the vanilla game works fine, its just when i load up my mod that i get this happening. I have been mostly doing stuff in the home system, it was just by chance that i noticed this so i have no idea when or what i did to cause this. Does anybody know?

Did you change StarTypes.xml? If planets are showing up fine, that's the only thing that should affect stars short of messing around with the fx files.

nope, didn't mess around with startypes at all. I did mod customplanets.xml but its not any of those systems that are affected, it happens to random stars. its pretty weird.

I solved the problem. It was the startypes file afterall. Though I didn't mess with it, somehow it got corrupted. I have replaced it and everything works fine now.
