IE7 Top Border vanishes using WindowBlinds 6

Vanishing Top Border in IE7

HEllo,
I have xp home sp2, 3.06 ghz., 1500 mb ram, nvidida GeForce 6800XT. I do not force the video card in any way.

I am using IE7 & have WindowBlinds 6. Most, but not all of the WindowBlind skins do not work properly in Internet Explorer 7. The top border goes totally invisable. It is still there, because when I click the area where the X is suppose to be, it closes the window.

I happens a lot if I have multiple windows open. The first window is normally ok, not always but most of the time. When I go into a second window & so on it goes invisable at the top. I can click on the task bar or another window thats open & the top border will come back faded.

Everything else in IE7 is fine. Just that top border above the address bar.

Thanks

Rick

cadmar1, man no one responeded to this, shame, shame. Go into WindowBlinds config and see what the transparency is set to. Not all WB will be able to use transparency. If its turn on, take it off and see what happens. There are also four choices for you to make, taskbar, menus, startmenu and window frames. Try adjusting these and see what happens. As you can see you can have a lot of tranparency or alittle. Try that and come on back and post if it solves your problem.

Same problem here. I have tried various options over the past couple of weeks to no avail so I guess it is a bug that needs reporting  :)

I went into WindowBlinds 6 Transparency & Blur. I first set the borders to the very end of less transparent & there was no change. I then tried the others, although they were really not connected to the top border & still no top border. I set to default again & no change.

The top border will partially come back if I click on another open window from the task bar & then go back to the open window again. IT just does not look right. It does not look at all like the bottom border.

I I click to fully open the window using the center button on the right. IT comes back again. Its the button in between the x and the -

I usually have it the other way so I can adjust the size of the window & move it around. You cannot do that, if that center button fully opens the window. You can only view one page at a time.

Very interesting, not seeing the problem here, but then these thing never really make sense when they happen. Since you say most skins do not work, are you drivers current for the graphic card? I would follow Zubaz advice and contact Stardock directly.
