Buying Boxed version in the UK

Hi Everyone,

Im hoping someone can help me with this. My Son has asked for Galactic Civilizations 2 Gold edition for Christmas. Problem is rather than downloading a version from here i'd like to get a boxed copy and wrap it as a 'proper' gift.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a UK retailer where i can pick up a copy?

Many Thanks

Well, GC2 Gold isn't available in Europe.

You can always purchase it at the Stardock store https://store.stardock.com/browse/games , but you will have some shipping costs.

Since you want to offer it as a gift, downloading the electronic version might be problematic since the serial number will be associated with e-mail that has done the purchase.

I was skeptical at first, but the whole stardock download process is much better for this game. I'm sure a nice card with the login details, or even a promise to hand over your card details 5 minutes later once he has signed up using his email would be just as good a prezzie.

Mind you I'm not fan of xmas myself. I think the whole thing should be cashed settled on the day, just work out what everyone would have spent on everyone else and exchange the difference.

End of quote

I loved Moo and Moo2 and was really sad when Moo3 turned out to be so bad.
But GC2 has saved the day for me if you liked Moo2 you will love this. Wait until you see the lego like ship designer, and DA and from the beta testing TA as well make this game about 100x better than Moo2 which I really liked.

One nice thing you could do would be to print off the user guide & strategy guide (preferably in colour) & bind them up.
Also you could burn a dvd of the download as a backup & include that in the package.

GREAT present by the way!
