how safe or unsafe are these pre-release versions, and how long roughly is it before they become bona fide so to speak.

Things happen. Not often maybe, but they do. When things go wrong is it catastophic? Usually not.

But daygo, from what we've seen of your PC . . I wouldn't do it. It's not worth it.

no managed to sort them out myself, although am thinking of getting a gb of memory and a more recent graphics card and yes i do have a sense of humour, i need it in my job, let you guess what that is.
