Mailcheck docklet suddenly not working in Vista

I've used the E-mailchecker Docklet 2 for Object Dock V2.2 forever and it has worked fine.  The last few days I notice it's not checking my POP mail account.  When I mouseover it, it says "couldn't load mailcheck.func properly".  Any ideas as to what happened?

mine is doing the same thing. it probably has to do with a recent virus scan/update.

edit: i'm not sure how it happened but i think you are missing mailcheck.func. i didnt have it in my folder either and i found a version in this zip -> mailcheck2.zip

works again. i'm not sure if virus protection deleted that file or what
