When can we expect to see a new version that is fully working in Vista 64?

I'm holding off on this app til I new version comes out. I am not sure if there are current betas for users that work better than the version on the website.  I know from friends, that Vista 64 and Objectdock, aren't fully compatible (ie. the system tray option doesn't work).

Any idea when a new version will be due out?  Are there betas that fix this issue?  Will the new version be a fee based upgrade?

I second that question.

I just purchased ObjectDock Plus after seeing it on a coworkers machine.
Unfortunately I did not read any warnings about x64 limitations until after purchasing and installing.

Would love to be able to get rid of the taskbar, but until the start menu and tray icons are supported on x64, I'm stuck.

Are you all saying that you can't make skins using Vista 64 bit, Also, where do you go and get grafic files and stuff to make skins, someone said something about TUT. I can't seem to find any info on how to even start to make skins. I would love to learn how to do this. Any help out there????

Thanks

The current beta has everything working on 64bit Vista. You can get this if you have the Plus version. Download it through Stardock Central.

Rubber I think some more detail is in order. Shoot me a PM with some more specific questions.

Got another quick question.

Just got windowblinds about 2 months ago. I like how it skins vista. My question is, if I get objectdock, and not use the taskbar anymore, doesn't that cut out about 50% of what windowblinds does? I guess what I mean is by getting rid of task bar, is there still enough value left in using windowblinds?

Tons! WindowBlinds skins everything Windows so status bars, seperate windows... etc. The taskbar would only be one part. Also there is nothing that says you have to get rid of the Taskbar. I actually use both ObjectDock and the Taskbar.

I am using the current OD beta with Vista 64 under 4gb of ram and I am having no problems with it, other than the usual Vista issue of Vista saying ObjectDock closed prematurely (as if it crashed/errored) even though I actualy told the program to exit, hehe. Other than that small bit, it seems to be working flawlessly for me.

Note that sysstats doesn't work under Vista64 with OD, but all of the OD docklets seem to work fine.

I used Stardock Central and installed ObjectDock 1.90i[b].020.
Both the start menu and the tray icons now work on Vista x64, thanks.

Sysstats might wait for the full update to ODPlus before updating. It has happened that way in the past. Glad everything is working for you guys.

Works fine here too, but I would like to see Native x64 support. It currently runs in 32 bit mode.

I will pass that along to the devs.
