Paranoid Newbie - Trial Period

Hi, I see that whenever you change a skin it shows the number of days remaining in the trial version. When this reaches zero does the application lock itself?

I want to make sure what kind of tricks are hidden in this software first.

Once you reach the end of the trial period, you won't be able to turn on your computer anymore.    JK, I believe once the trial is up, you can't change to anymore custom skins. You can keep whatever skin you have on current but can't change to anything new. Anyone want to weigh in on that?

When it reaches zero you should know whether you like it or not.  If you do like it, you should purchase it.  If you don't, you should uninstall it.
What more do you really need to know?

Be sure to uninstall trial before installing the bought version however you'd be better off getting objectdesktop suite,i can't be bothered explaining why you should buy the suite, lets just say wb by itself still leaves something missing,to backup what i say i bought the suite back in 06 & have now recently subbed till 2009 or is it 2010,no matter you get the picture & now my desktops kickass

edit: i'll shoot myself before i EVER go back to orignal xp os themes even working on a mates comp it hurts the eyes without customization

Ditto, I love the product, and have had it for a few years.

Should you decide to purchase the product once the trial is up be sure to uninstall the trial before installing the full version. None of our trials are upgraded by the full versions. You get conflicts otherwise.

Okay, thanks for the fast response.

I agree, I'll have to gouge out my eyes if I have to go back to original XP, especially after working on a KDE Linux desktop for the past while.

Its like when they split the atom and a bunch of even more mysterious crap fell out. Except with Windowblinds, the crap is pure wonderous incomprehensibly bright light made of colors from an alien apectrum we don't even know exists in our state of being.

When it gets to Zero...the following occurs. A voice comes in and says..."The trial period is at an end. Your mission should you choose to accept it, is to purchase this product. If you are unable then Stardock will disawow all knowledge of your existence. This computer will self destruct in ten seconds!".....When you see smoke coming from your hard drive....back up slowly toward your door making no sudden moves.....once outside door, close it quietly and gently and never.....I repeat.....never look back.
