Tabbed dock behavior question

I have a tabbed dock at the top of my screen and I'd like to suggest an optional behavior.  As is, when I move the mouse pointer up to the tabs the dock slides down and if the tab I want is not active I have to move the pointer back down to click on it.  This is a small movement, but over time this has come to feel like I'm alway chasing the tabs.  What I would prefer is for the dock to not slide down until after I click on a tab.  That way the tabs are not moving targets.  Maybe this could be implemented at some point?

There is a feature inside OD that can automatically activate the tab you mouse over as it's sliding down. It's under Miscellaneous Options i think.

You can set the tab to you mouseover to become active as it slides out.  That's what I do
Under "Misc Options" "Automatically activate on mouseover" Or something like that.

Hmmm . . . I could delete your 1st and 3rd post.  And then this one and win.

But that would be abusing my power . .  hmmm . . .still  . . so very tempting

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately, I can't find the option to have the mouseover action activate the tab. I'm using the latest version of Object Dock Plus and I'm not even seeing a Misc Options category. Please try again.

OK, a little more hunting around and I found the Misc Options and the "automatically activate mouseover tab" option. Thanks for the help. I still like my idea of having the dock not move until I click the tab, but this is pretty close

I misunderstood.  That's there too.

Ah, I get it! By turning OFF mouseover activation I can go up to the tab of my choice and it doesn't move until I click on it. My thanks to everyone for helping me figure this out. And have a happy Thanksgiving too
