Object Desktop belated renewal

Hi everyone,

just a short question I wasn't able to figure out:

I was a long time OD customer but my last 1-year-period ended in January this year and I didn't renew it. If I choose to renew it now will the new 1-year-period start now, or does it start last January (when the last period expired)?

It would start again at the time of the renewal (now).
Glad you are going to renew.

that would make sense.. otherwise:

subscription runs out, you wait 2 years and then renew = Stardock sends you a link to a version that's only been expired a year
