I had to laugh when I read not only the responses attacking me, but also my awesome overnight point loss. It feels neat to be blacklisted. A voice shut off, an opinion not heard. Much akin to covering your ears like a child would, maybe even yelling 'lalalalala' all the while. If this Jill knew me at all, she's know, as many others do, that I'm for the children. Society is so fucked what with shitty distractions like video games, violent shows and violent role models, trash TV and even trashier movies, parents renting the fucking Matrix for their 4 year olds 'cause he thinks it's neat', 10 year old girls barfing their bile out so's to look like the skinny toothpicks adorning every fashion magazine, drugs in elementary schools, crack on every corner, hoes on every block, divorce in every third household, broken families, broken homes, an indifferent system, school systems with their panties in a bunch over the word 'God' rather than the 40% illiterate rate they so nicely donate to their future generation, the list is endless. I won't lie. I don't know this Jill or anything about her, other than what she types about in her blog. When I read her article I was concerned over her judgement of who she leaves her children at the mercy of. In the end that's all it is. A babysitter is a caregiver. Responsible for the LIFE AND WELL-BEING OF A CHILD. A babysitter who talks on the phone a lot is a danger. Or who brings their fucking lovers or boyfriends into your own home! So then you have 2 strangers responsible for your kids and they're not watching and caring for your kids. He's going through the fridge or into the other rooms, going downstairs, anywhere. Why? Cause he's in your house because your babysitter let him in. Best case scenario they're focusing on each other. Worst case scenario they're fucking in your bed while your child is running around outside in a rainstorm all alone. Attack me all you want for my stand on this. I wasn't attacking Jill as a personal insult. She's a fucking A member here. Why would I deliberately troll her? Lmao. But trolling to you it was. That's fine. I see it's evolved to attacking me for my blog content. That's typical in the lower species. Funny. But like I say: ?

For somebody who is watching out for children, you sure added a whole bunch of adult content to this article without marking it as "adult content".     Of course, I guess if you were the 13 year olds parent, they wouldn't be able to even get to this site, right?

I think that maybe you need to stop reading all the gore and hate articles if you think the world is that bad.  The town that I live in has a less than 1% crime rate.  How does that fit into your "crack on every corner"?  I think that you think the world is a lot more evil than it really is.

Just try and pass that off as helpful advice. It sounds like a condescending, arrogant, what-the-hell-were-you-thinking poke in the eye. Especially so because given the way it's phrased, especially that "psycho frig-stick" bit, and how you expounded upon it in the rest of the post, it's obvious what you think of her decision to employ a babysitter of any sort.

Bottom line, you were being a flaming asshole and you got what you deserved.

you're right DragmanBrad and truthfully I never until this moment looked at this blog site as such. I really didn't. But I stand by what I said and see nothing wrong with telling a mother to be more vigilant when choosing a babysitter AFTER I read that this said babysitter brought her boyfriend into the house (I assume Jill hever knew that), got all wacked out in front of her kids (Jill said she suspects drugs were involved), decided she couldn't deal with Jill's kids (clearly breaking her babysitting contract), therefore deciding to send them out, in a rainstorm, to some neighbour, telling them to watch the kids because she couldn't. And I don't recall specifics, but I think Jill was saying something to the effect of: she's been around the neighbourhood for however many years and I thought she wasn't a problem...she always seemed nice...that kind of thing. Maybe someone will read this and maybe the next time they're getting a babysitter they'll maybe think of what I said and maybe ask a few more questions before hiring him/her. I don't fuck around when it comes to my or any other's children's safety. Trust me. I'm hell over baby seats and booster seats..I'm a friggin Ralph Nader over those.

You were wrong with What Jill said.  She asked if people thought that what she was explaining was drugs, she did not say that it was drugs.  The boyfriend came when the girl called him while she was having problems.  She also stated that this girl was somebody that other people knew and that she had sat for her in the past.  You obviously made your own (wrong) assumptions.

And, it's really hard to believe that you were doing it to protect children.  Sounds more like you were hiding behind an excuse for the nasty things that you said.

I think you're overstating the value of your original commentary. "Trying to help protect children"? The sum total of your actual advice was "You should be more careful." That adds about as much real value to a conversation as a week-old used piece of bubblegum. Throw in the surrounding text which was arrogant and demeaning and your value moves to somewhere around a crumpled, dirty gum wrapper that's been stuck to a dead fish for a month.

As you say, you don't know Jill or anything about her except what she types about in her blog. Well, we don't know anything about you except what you type about either. And so far what I've been able to see from your postings is that you have a monumentally arrogant attitude, with a large side order of holier-than-thou, along with a complete lack of tact or discretion and a near-total inability to recognize that other viewpoints besides your own might have any validity whatsoever.
