This suggest will make OBJECTDOCK a perfect application

Hi, there is 2 features that will make OBJECTDOCK perfect.

There's no reason to use a "dock" because it's not "perfect" for windows layout. Actually, this "dock" emulates the MAC-OSX dock... and I don't think that is good at the end... Instead, I suggest some changes to make this Launcher (not dock) perfect.

1) Double Clicking (or single clicking*) middle mouse button, will make OBJECTDOCK Launcher appear in the middle center of the screen (fast fading effect), always on top (offcourse), then, you select an application, then OBJECTDOCK fades out! It is perfect!. It will be something as pressing ALT-TAB on windows vista.

* Single clicking actually is used ONLY by closing a TAB on Internet Explorer... and I really think that nobody use it..

2) An option, when you install a new program, OBJECTDOCK ask to add the shortcut to the dock...

I hope you release this features... It will be perfect and I will agree to use a "true application launcher", and not an emulator...

Thank you!

You don't have to "agree" to anything. ObjectDock is a "true application launcher"....because it launches programs. Is Windows a true OS or an emulator. Is FireFox a true Browser or an emulator...

If you don't like the features of OD don't flame it by saying it's just an emulator. There are other application launchers out there. Try them out, maybe they can do what you want. If you'd like to see a feature added to OD, don't flame it.

I use ObjectDock Plus which is pretty close to the perfect launching application.

***you select an application, then OBJECTDOCK fades out!***
There is an option to hide the dock when not in use. Clicking or double clicking to show the dock is the same as moving the mouse over to the dock.

***An option, when you install a new program, OBJECTDOCK ask to add the shortcut to the dock...***
Why? You too lazy to do it manually?

Ditto. ObjectDock Plus is a standard application I install on the PC's I use. I'm rarely using the startmenu menu more.

I'm not so keen on the regular dock, but the tabbed dock rocks.

What middle mouse button?

I can't be the only one who uses a mouse without just 2 buttons and a wheel.

the middle button is the wheel if you press it instead of roll it

Perfect for you, but I wouldn't like that at all. Besides, using OD+, which dock would be controlled by the action?

You assume too much. My wheel button is set as an "Undo" (Ctrl+Z) button.

That option would be handy.

but would also be pretty hard to work into the program...

for me, OD is just dandy...

I like my OD just the way it is. I know how to add programs to it. Guess some people just want everything done for them. What next? Should it brush my teeth for me too?
