Dockzip....What is it?

I been seeing a lot of background docks created for OD with a dockzip extension. Maybe I missed something. What I would like to know is: What is it? How can I open it? I've seen them I just never used one.

missed something? maybe dockzip = extension to autoload icons/backgrounds in your OD library
Double click to open it
then open icon properties change image they are in your library
same for Backgrounds

What I don't understand is why when using a dockzip, it sticks the background in the empty OD library in My Docs when all the other backgrounds and images are in the Program Files dir....really wish everything would be in ONE standardized location. Becomes a real nightmare when trying to back things up (so instead I deleted it from the my docs folder and stuck it in program files).

That's what I thought...but it shows as a default icon and when I click on it the box opens up that says nothing is associated with that file. Should I associate it with OD.exe?

if you get the same message with each dockzip you should try to associate it with OD if that don't work
you should contact stardock support by sending a mail to support@stardock.com
