mouse wheel

I don't know if this has been posted previously. in other programs when pressing and holding the mouse wheel it allows you to pan the screen.

there are numerous time i would like to use this ability but to my knowledge this isn't available.

is there a way to program it into a wheel mouse?

is it too late to add this feature?

Try inputing it in the control section of the menu.

and if that fails, use zoom to cursor, the arrow keys, or moving your mouse to whichever side of the screen you want it to pan to

i looked into inputting it into the menu, but the there doesn't seem to be a way to program that move for all directions into the mouse wheel.

i know i can zoom to cursor, use the arrow keys, etc, but being able to pan the screen with the mouse button depressed comes as second nature to me since i do it all the time with autocad.

I have an issure with the mouse too. I have the logitech MX revolution. I am used to double clicking on items to "center" them and then safely zoom into them. In beta 4, it often takes two tries. also, there is a gap in the zoom where it loses its "center" and goes off course. zooming troubles bother me because seeing the details is supposed to be a big part of this game.

Just out of curiosity, is your zoom-to-cursor on, or off?
