Create ObjectDock with DesktopX?

Hi -

I want to create an application like ObjectDock with DesktopX, is it possible? I am new to DesktopX and not sure if I should use Layer, Taskbar, SysTray or if it's even possible. All I need is to create something like toolbar with multipple buttons and gadgets.

Not a skinner, programmer or developer, but I think you should be able to do that. Have you gone through the DesktopX Gadgets and Widgets library to see if some might all ready be made?

Got to ask the question, why not just use oblject dock?

Look for DX sidbars.
They could be modified

What I am trying to do is to configure my own docklet to display reports I am running on the web and for this application to access the variables on the web and display them on the docklet in the graphical format. I need a VB capable application in order to do that. I am not sure if OD gived that option. Seems like Desktop X gives you Java and VB access.

I need an application similar to OD, but with my own customization. Is this possible?

And yeah, it can do what you need
