WB6 not drawing desktop

Since i have loaded WB6 I get this 
and find it difficult to save and close programs. my Config is:
Your Windows Graphics Experience score is 5.7
WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 6.0 (build 49 x86 - Vista Edition)
WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC
WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC
(SyncMaster 203B/206B, SyncMaster Magic CX203B(Digital)) 1 is attached to NVIDIA GeForce 86000GT

I have had a look thru the WB settings but cannot see a way to fix it.
