Reunite yourself with these classics!

:::Subspace:::

:::Command & Conquer:::

:::Total Annihilation:::

Alright, I am just curious to see who actually remembers these classic games   from 1995-97

we all had our favorite games and weve had our share of forgotten ones also!! the forgotten are usually the best(dont ask me why) i simply dont know!

anyways im here to put the spotlight on a few games! (classics no doubt!)

Do you remember Command & Conquer? Its the battle between NOD and GDI. One of the best RTS games to set it all off! This title was made by a Company called Westwood Studios and was the perfect passtime that was addictive, online/LAN enabled and had a lot of in-game units and structures at your disposal!

Nowadays, Westwood is a sector of Electronic Arts (aka: EA Games) and they became a really big success! Pshh like they werent back then??

Anyways heres a screen shot of their new compilation pack of games starting with the very first ever that they made..

Its called Command & Conquer: The First Decade! I will add that the only game not included here is the one for Xbox360 Called C&C Tiberium Wars. click those links below the screenshot for more info on C&C!

Second to be mentioned, is one i even forgot about for 5 years called Subspace!

Subspace is a top down space ship shooter (like the popular Atari top down, Asteroids!) The difference is, your fighting Non-AI opponents, from all over the globe! With an assortment of ships to use, you gain points and friends by completeing tasks and goals such as Dueling, King of the hill, Capturing flags, and much more but the most common goal is to kill your opposing forces! You can clan up or fight on your own or join temporary teams on frequencies(or channels)!

The game now is optimized and much more addictive than ever. It also goes by the name Continuum.

Screen shots below and links to d-load this free classic game are below!

Thirdly, The one that I doubt anyone will remember is Made by a company called Cavedog Entertainment/Boneyards and is named Total Annihilation!

Total Annihilation is the last one on my mind as far as forgotten classics... This game is not available anymore but it was a game to be known! From what I understand, TA was the first   3D rendered RTS game for a PC.... That in itself was and epic thing in '97.

Every thing about the game was innovative; Physics, particle systems, the AI got more advanced as you progressed through the game (ie::...easy went to medium, medium went to hard, hard went to advanced). and everything was based on balance! Not only that but being that the terrain was realistically rendered, it made or broke your strategies! the terrain was interactive, meaning that foliage in the game caught fire if it was shot at and the flames harmed your units and buildings if it got too close to them. The particles from explosions damage other units and structures nearby as well.

Heres a review done by Gamespot on TA :::

Anyway the purpous of this article is to get people into remberance with all time favs of many people that have been forgotton by some! hopfully i will see some skins and walls of these games posted soon!

well i hope i brought back good memories!

95-97... *chuckles*

I was raised on Pong, Atari and Colecovision, I wouldn't classify these games as classic. Go back 20 more years for classic games.
