Any UK players?

UK player role call

Just wondering how many UK/Euro players we have , I was thinking of arranging games more suited to GMT time so I dont have to play past midnight.

Denmark GMT+1

Also GMT +1, there are a few. I think you might get some more hints in the "big game" thread, where some people wanted to organise big games for the euro time zone.

I'm from the UK and would be intrested in a game at a resonable hour lol

Most of the weekend games we organize these days are pretty favorable to GMT times.. this weekend's, for example, start at 6 and 4pm GMT on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

past midnight makes me think of the 6 hour game I had with multi. I think we finally stopped at something like 7:30 am (we are in the same time zone). it really killed my rythm for the following days.

I can.

besides: an american complaining about the quality of european food, amusing.

truth be told, I myself was only in the us once, and there only in new york several years ago. I can thus not make a generalised statement and only have comparatively small sample to draw from, yet a large number of opinions seem to confirm this impression. also, good food is just more expensive over there than it is here.

Setting aside that eet was making a joke, there really is no 'American cuisine' as there is in pretty much any other culture Most American food is pretty basic, or shared with other cuisines. It's not "bad", just basic And no, McDonalds doesn't really count as American food. Burgers do, but there are much much much much much better places to go to for burgers

Anyway.. I've always enjoyed European/Asian cuisines, but I know people who refuse to touch any of it.

I will admit, Europe has a broad, tasty cuisine where America can only really lay claim to bar-b-que (which can be really good) and most of the rest is from Europe. However, for you Brits...we saved you twice. For you Danes and Austrians, we saved you once (and for the Austrians in the house, breaking up Austria-Hungary was Britain and France's idea don't blame us...unless you don't mind the empire's break-up in which case it was all Wilson and we'll be happy to take credit   ). In addition, Stardock and Ironclad are American developers so you owe Sins to America (which if taken out of context might not be a plus for America...).

But getting away from American jingoism...I do love Danishs so go Multi's peps!

its great to be a republic, even though we're a lot smaller now. now I'm gonna have a wiener (schnitzel). bbq rocks too, does have some tradition over here too.

oh, and I might be wrong, but aren't the devs canadians? thats also american, but still.

edit: if poutin = chicken, sure, but I still wouldnt like putin.
