Can't download any files off wincustomize

Not able to download any files. I login, click the download link and with IE7 it says it cannot download the file because the server is unavailable or cannot be found.

I tried with Mozilla and Opera and they just download a 1.50KB file from a 4 or 5MB file. What's the deal with this?

i have an identical problem, all files are just 1,50 KB and worthless. and by the way, i am a registered user, i paid for my software and i want it to work....

can anyone please help?

When you click to start the download, do you get an option to at least save the file? 

If you do, do you know what server it is pulling from?  You'll see the server name probably in the title bar of the save dialog.  It'll be something like skins3.wincustomize.com.

yes, it is skins4.wincustomize.com. and it wants me to verify myself. but how and why the hell since yesterday?

and today, nothing happens, it downloads absolutely normal, but the files are still 1,50 KB and empty...

Which files are you specifically having problems with?

to be honest: all files.

whatever i want to download, nothing works. all files are the same size, 1,50 KB (zip files, sidebar gadgets...)

Give me a few specific links to test out.  We think we know where the issue is, but I just want to confirm it.

well, i don“t know what you did, but all works fine now - no more problems!! i just tried downloading again and everything is ok....

Still doesn't work for me...

skins4.wincustomize.com....doesn't ask me to verify, just says site not available, try later...

Must be just this theme, I'm able to download other blinds now, couldn't do it earlier....couldn't download anything last night....

The problem is being worked on???? are you working on the problem of one purchasing/renewing their object desktop and only can dl 500mb???? You don't even have a contact email address, so what! is everyone suppose to come to the forum???? I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH MIKE H. AT STARDOCK.....DON'T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM.....the problem is I CANNOT DL PAST 500MB. WHY? WHY? I PURCHASED OBJECT DESKTOP AUGUST 2007....2007...2007. PER YOU GUY AND I QUOTE:

Deep breaths.

Stardock has great support.  It sounds like you may have been caught up in a seperate problem.  They'll take care of it.  Mike's a great guy and goes above and beyond for the clients here.  It'll be OK.

Log out and log back in.  Maybe you have cookie issues.  Clear them and your cache between logging back on.

As an aside Leah, there is still an issue with the servers and even once you fix this problem you may experience failed downloads.
