Unsupported Operation Error?

3.09[b].008

Was adjusting/applying shadows to menus when got this error message on clicking Save & Apply:

Appears to be "non-destructive" as the shadows apply & the program doesn't crash.

Just an odd error message. FYI.

XPP SP2.

kinda makes it sound like if you screw it up, you get no help...

This didn't happen to me. What skin did you have selected?

Seabass6.7 -

Thanks. I was selecting [Shadow] Glass: WWW Link

I had modified the skin a long time ago to narrow the top shadow & this only happened when I recently tried to modify the shadow opacity. If I leave opacity at the default, I get no error message.

This happens constently, shadows, transparencys will not work ether, Just upgraded to V3.1, and bought WB6, using Molton skin. but Win FX is now usless pos. Get error " An unsupported operation was attempted."everytime I press "Save and Appply" Every thing was fine before

Shadows & transparency still work here, despite that error message. Shadows were dropped from some, but not all, windows & menus after that error but everything returned to normal when I reset the opacity to default.

Me thinks there's something unhappy somewhere in that slider.

comfirmed, Shadows and transparencys are not supported on WB6, (per pixel skins), lol Stardock not even compatable with its self

WindowFX informs you that shadows are not used when you use a per pixel skin (because per pixel skins usually have their own shadows).

Thanks for chiming in, Neil.

In my case, the skin in use had non-perpixel borders, however. Should the shadow opacity setting be functional for non-ppx skins?
