Weather Docklet problem to get location

Kumopipolopi putting in freiensteinau, germany gave me this

Freiensteinau, Germany (Hessen) Temp 52F cloudy

Thanks for your quick reply !

But when i´m entering this in the way you show me, i get an error message like:

"please enter in a valid location"

when i enter freiensteinau, germany i get the message "feed not available, try again later"

i´ve tried some variations but always the same....

As i wrote above: on the website of accuweather.com i can finde my hometown and get results.

What version of ObjectDock do you have?

its 1.9.0 Build 534

The build of ObjectDock you're using unfortunately still has a minor issue where certain locations do not show up. Concurrent with new releases of production versions you will usually find updated free/trial versions as well.

ObjectDock Plus is currently in Beta, but I believe when the final version is released, there will be an updated free build on download.com as well. (no official/unofficial timeline on that though)

i just found a town only 20 km´s away; thats close enough for me for now.

Hello !

Today i get my own objectdock plus; but this weather-docklet problem goes on.

When i try to use the xml-weather-docklet which use weather.com , object dock closes with an error-message.

So what can i do now to receive my local weather-info ?

Kumopipolopi - If you have ObjectDock Plus (which uses Accu-Weather) then you will have no issues with getting the weather for your location (Freiensteinau, Germany (Hessen)) using the included weather docklet. I tried it and it works fine. If this does not work for you then contact support@stardock.com and supply them with the email used to purchase ObjectDock Plus and they will be able to assist you in resolving this issue.

New answer from Stardock is still missing....

I´m using version 1.90 plus 535u

Maybe I must get an update or something ?!?!

It´s really anoying; it seems anyone around the world can get this location except myself...

Build 537u should fix your problem since you have Plus
Get Stardock Central and it will let you know when there are updates.

I have to change my login because i ordered with another mailaddi; so I´m Kumopipolopi as well as i am also Firebolt111 and I will use this login from now

I update to 537u and everthing works great !
