task tray & Quick launch

Does anyone know what might resize the task tray and quicklaunch buttons? All the sudden mine look oversized and are appearing to force th task bar to be lager by about 5-10 pixels

It's windowblinds. There has been alot of talk about the problem but I haven't followed it very close. Check out the Windowblinds 6 release thread I think.

To get them back to normal, open display properties/ Appearance..... select large font size and then back to normal font size (you have to do this to activate the apply button). Apply. It should be fixed for now.

The quick launch buttons do that for me sometimes too, when I am making a blind. What I do, is right click on the taskbar, select view > small icons.

Hope this helps.

BTW, I am still using WB 5.5

You have to have the quick launch buttons visible, then right click on the taskbar. The view option is at the top of the menu.

I found that messing with the topwindowframe height also messed up my quicklaunch & system tray icon sizes, don't know if this is what's causing your problem but I thought I would mention it. It happened to me when I was trying to make a very thin top windowframe, I mentioned in another discussion and some other people observed the same problem as well. Don't know why they're related but it might be something to check out at your end.
